ELECTRIC HIRE CAR CLEANING PROCEDURES

When hiring a vehicle from Volt-Age you can expect high levels of customer service, but also high levels of vehicle cleanliness. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were proud to offer high levels of service, and we have enhanced this to reduce the specific risks associated with rental vehicles. As a member of the BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association), we have implemented their suggested guidelines to ensure that branch appointments, deliveries and collections can operate as safely as possible. In addition to general cleaning, we use a specialist Automotive Disinfectant to sanitise all interior areas of the vehicle, with additional focus on key areas of touch including:

• Vehicle Key & Key fob

• Door Opening Handles

• Door Release Handles

• Steering Wheel & column

• Instrument Cluster

• Center console and Gear Selector

• Instrument Stalks

• Storage Compartments & Cupholders

• Dashboard

DELIVERY & COLLECTION PROCEDURES

Please be assured that if you require Volt-Age to deliver and collect the vehicle you rent from us, we will do so in a safe manner. All of our drivers wear disposable gloves and face coverings, and carry specialist Automotive Disinfectant with them to ensure they are able to reduce the risks to our clients. Our drivers carry mobile devices to carry out the vehicle checking procedure, which doesn’t require a signature or touch from our clients. A copy of the checking report is emailed in PDF format.
